We're looking for a proactive, reliable Personal Assistant to support a tech entrepreneur running a portfolio of international technology and e-commerce ventures. This is a broad role — from managing inbox and calendar to screening candidates, ordering groceries, and tracking packages. You'll be the right hand that keeps everything running smoothly. Flexible, ongoing engagement with potential to grow into a full-time role. --- ABOUT US • Portfolio of technology and e-commerce ventures based in the Netherlands • Primary venture: Layerline ([login to view URL]) — global 3D printing marketplace • US entity, operating globally with distributed teams • Fast-paced environment — many things happening at once --- WHAT WE NEED Inbox & Communication • Managing and organizing email inbox — filtering, prioritizing, drafting replies • Flagging urgent items and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks • Following up on pending emails and conversations on behalf of the founder Calendar & Scheduling • Managing a busy calendar across multiple time zones • Scheduling meetings, calls, and appointments • Avoiding conflicts and ensuring buffer time between meetings • Sending reminders and preparing meeting briefs when needed Recruitment Support • Screening incoming candidates on Freelancer.com and other platforms • Managing candidate communication and follow-ups • Organizing interview schedules • Keeping a tracker of all open roles and candidate pipeline Research & Admin • General research tasks — market research, competitor analysis, vendor comparison • Document preparation and organization • Data entry and spreadsheet management • Filing, record keeping, and general administrative support Social Media Management • Managing social media accounts — scheduling posts, engaging with followers • Content calendar management • Basic content creation and copywriting • Monitoring mentions and relevant industry conversations Personal & Lifestyle Support • Ordering groceries and personal goods online • Tracking packages and deliveries • Travel planning — flights, hotels, transportation, itineraries • Personal errands and ad-hoc tasks as needed --- WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR • 5+ years experience as a personal assistant, executive assistant, or virtual assistant • Extremely organized — you love systems, checklists, and keeping things on track • Strong communicator — clear, professional English (written and spoken) • Proactive — you anticipate needs, don't just wait for instructions • Reliable and discreet — you'll have access to sensitive information • Comfortable juggling many different tasks and priorities at once • Tech-savvy — comfortable with email, calendar tools, spreadsheets, project management tools Bonus: • Experience supporting entrepreneurs or startup founders • Familiarity with Freelancer.com or similar hiring platforms • Social media management experience • Experience with AI tools to speed up work • Dutch language skills (not required but a plus) • Experience in e-commerce or tech industry --- HOW WE WORK • Remote, flexible hours (some overlap with CET timezone preferred) • Clear communication via chat, email, and video calls • Daily check-ins or async updates depending on workload • Long-term relationship with the right person --- TO APPLY 1.
