Ongoing accounting and book keeping

We are a small, high growth, internet based technology provider (SAAS) looking for a highly skilled, communicative and intelligent accountant to do accounting and book keeping work on a 1-2 days per week basis, with potential to grow the role. Our team is small, professional and great to work with; we work at the amazing Australian Technology Park; and we have a huge ambition to succeed. You would be an essential contributor to that success. You're likely to be confident in your skills and abilities; energetic and precise. We use Xero so you need to be highly proficient in that program. You get satisfaction from nailing your work, and also from working helpfully with others. You will commit to the success of the business and recognise the importance of your role. We will love it if you do and you'll get stimulation, challenge and above market rewards. The work itself involves the usuals - billings, receivables, payables, tax, super, all book entries, reconciliations, payroll, running management accounts on time each month, helping manage cashflow. The real value is your ability to recognise the priorities of the business and deliver reports, follow up and command of the role relentlessly on time and accurately. Once that is all bedded down we will appreciate more expansive and high value ways of helping move the business forward.
