I am a small business owner looking for some help with a few projects.
First I will need bookkeeping assistance on an ongoing basis working with quickbooks, dropbox files containing invoices/receipts. Initially I would need assistance to verify quickbooks has all of the bank transactions for 2018 entered and properly categorized, currently there are some missing that I have found. This requires comparing exported bank transactions to what is already in quickbooks, if missing then accept and categorize, if not missing then exclude the transaction. Also entering and verifying all invoices/receipts for 2018 are entered and showing in quickbooks. The end result is to be able to have quickbooks organized for 2018 taxes filing. After organized, the ongoing work would be to continue to enter and categorize transactions as they occur each month. I would be available and interacting with you during the initial and ongoing work.
Second part of the project is to organize a set of paper statements from a vendor detailing lots of accounts payable, and activities on the accounts. This would need to be organized per account on a spreadsheet showing each account payable, charges and fees incurred/payments made and running balances. The statements go back for several years, one per month. The goal is to verify the vendor is keeping accurate accounting records on the provided statements and also to setup a system for current and future account payable tracking.
Third part of the project is to assist creating a spreadsheet analysis of income and expenses on a group of rental properties for presentation to investors. The spreadsheet should be created to have editable input for investment amount and investment period, input for projections for income and expenses for multiple properties and output formulas that calculate IRR, Equity multiple, Cash Flow yield, Cap Rate and also show an Amortization table of any financed portion of the property portfolio. The goal of this is to use it to both analyze investment property portfolios and also to allow an analysis of the property/properties from the perspective of an investor who is investing a small piece of total investment in the property. I will need the spreadsheet to work in mac pages as well as excel.
