Accounting Assistant

We're looking for an Accounts Assistant with a sharp eye for detail, positive energy and a can-do attitude to work across a large range of duties and tasks within our finance function. As part of the finance team, you are a key part of the engine that keeps bills being managed, book-keeping be kept up to date, team members being paid on time, systems and records being maintained and ultimately ensuring a high level of hygiene across a number of critical business areas.
An idea of the duties you can expect to be a part of:
Assist with raising invoices and emailing them to Customers
Upload and submit customer invoices in customer invoice portal
Assist with the issuing of Invoices and emailing them to Customers
Prepare and send reminder emails and monthly statements
Assist with any customer email enquiries
Liaise with sales team for outstanding customer purchase orders
Updating purchase order numbers on invoices and resending to customers
Maintenance of the accounts receivable contacts database (spreadsheet)
Prepare weekly accounts receivable aging reports
