I am an English teacher and do not much about finance. However, as part of an exchange I will be teaching business writing. However, I have to also explain a business proposal as well. I may have to do 5 of these.
I know marketing and business writing. However, I have a difficult time explaining how to calculations came about.
An accountant completed the business proposal so all the finance is correct. I just do not know how this person arrived at the numbers.
I can supply the proposal that was done.
I am looking for the following:
How to read the balance sheet (how they calculated the numbers)
How to read the income statement (how they calculated the numbers)
Project viability / Financial Projectors / Analysis (Financial ratios / indicators) how they calculated the numbers
Credit rating / Current Ratio - How the numbers were calculated.
I will supply the proposal and spreadsheets that were done by the accountant. i just need you to explain how the account got the calculations from all this. EG: show me if the answer is 4 (2+2=4) that is basically all I want but at a higher level then that of course.
