I am looking for an experienced accountant that has a comprehensive understanding of accounting with a particular focus on a small retail business with a leasehold in the UK. You will be familiar with aspects including amortisation, purchase ledger, sales ledgers, assigning items as leasehold improvements and similar.
You should also have a solid grounding in and understanding ofthe Xero cloud based accounts system. Initially you will spend one hour paid, asap to look over our current Xero set-up and provide advice on appropriate changes to our chart of accounts, purchase ledger, sales ledger etc. You will also provide advice on the data entry, voiding of transactions and other adjustments which must be made.
FYI this is a UK Ltd. It is VAT Registered. It is involved in Retail.
