This project is intended to identify people in different sub-groups by comparing two different excel reports.
We are providing online questionnaires to a large population (47,000 people) and our system can only provide a report showing who completed the questionniare as part of the whole 47,000 person group. The report (Questionnaire completion report) is in excel and includes the name and unique ID for each person that completed the questionnaire. This report is produced weekly.
What we want to do is be able to sort the people who have completed the questionnaire into sub-groups. These subgroups are identified through a whole population excel file that has all of the people sorted into the sub-groups and identified as such. There will likely be about 10 sub-groups in the whole population of 47,000 people.
We would like a process that we can run every week that will take the questionnaire completion report and compare it to the sub-grouped file. Output should be a report that groups all of the people who have completed the questionnaire into their respective sub-groups.
The reporting capability must be in place for a 1/1/2010 go live.
