Write a Technical Report

A 1 to 2 page process description of " The process of launching a satellite in space". Make sure you thoroughly understand the conventions of a process description and avoid writing instructions. The ability to:  Describe a technical process accurately, succinctly, and with the appropriate level of detail based on an audience analysis.  Paraphrase and cite material from at least one credible/academic source and correctly use APA to support the cited material.  Use language that is not only grammatically correct but also matches the technical background of a nontechnical audience.  Follow formatting instructions.  Apply technical writing principles: 1) Identify purpose and audience 2) Improvise genre 3) Construct audience 4) Use rhetorical tools consciously Need at least 1 academic source. Need at least one self-created visual (a visual you draw, take, or make yourself) to support the overall process (to meet assignment content requirements note that these cannot be taken from the internet or scanned from a textbook for Part 1). Parts: * An overall description of the object, mechanism, or process.  Specifications as to the physical size, weight, composition, etc.  *Description of features, functions, and stages (that are partitioned or sectioned accordingly).  *Definitions as part of the explanation (often an important part of a description).  *A brief conclusion signaling to the reader that they’ve reached the end of the process. * And relevant visuals or a visual that usually shows the process in action, the cycle, or the stages.
