If what you are missing are theme's settings/changes you have made on original site, then you will need to remake them on new one. Or check if you can export theme settings as xml/csv/etc and import them in new one. This issue happens a lot with a lot of themes .

Transferring the database settings should be fairly doable. Let me know if its a connection issue or simply a misconfiguration in the database they've set up. I could export it from your previous website and then import it in the .com brad new site. \\ Thanks.
