The coder will need to have it optimized. **_Part 2 _** **SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION** To carry out a site diagnostic evaluation identifying technical, structural or content related issues which may be impacting the search engines ability to read or navigate our site. The coder should perform a "100+ point site check-up" and provide a list of recommendations and suggested changes which he/she will implement, or forward to the buyer for implementation. Keyword Research The coder should review current priority keyword list as well as undertake keyword research to identify and recommend the best keywords and keyword phrase for optimization. The coder should create a customized report detailing number of searches for each keyword as well as a competitiveness factor ratio to identify best keyword options. Site Optimization/Metatag development The coder should develop customized metatags for all individual pages on the site. Metatags include keyword rich titles, descriptions and keyword lists. Metatags should be updated on an ongoing basis to reflect both changes in search engine algorithms, as well as the addition of new copy or new content pages. The coder should initially focus on the top 30-40 keywords and continue to build that over time.
