I need to build a small project in Unity 3D which will have a simple GUI in which a Crosshair should display and could move as per the first person control by arrow keys. Next is I need 5 different buttons or cubes (each with different colors) at 5 different corners of a screen. When user targets the Crosshair on the button / cube it should detect the that button/cube (along with a color)

Hi there, As per my understanding it is a relatively easy task and can be accomplished in no time. If I get it right we move using using arrow keys as one moves in First Person Shooting Game and a Crosshair is on screen, when Crosshair is on a target the target is detected. Thus I would like to discuss to understand if I understand it correct.
