My company has a mssql database in the US that is hosted outside of our companies normal network, and are looking to created a mirror of that database inside of the China firewall that is being hosted on aws.
We started this process, however their were connectivity issues. It had been recommended to us at one point we get an MPLS or IPSec lines to help with some of these connectivity issues between the US and china servers.
This is a possibility. Another possibility is that our company already has an MPLS line going from our internal network in the US location to our China location; so creating a chain sync from our external hosted server, to US server inside our network, to our network in china, then out to aws china, is a possibility.
We are looking to outsource this whole database [url removed, login to view] the proposal is to get an MPLS or IPSec line, than we would like our freelancer to define requirements and manage any companies needed in order to get this done. If the proposal is to do a chain sync from the externally hosted US server, to the internal US server through our current mpls line over to our china office, then sync out from there to our china aws server than this would need to be actually set up for us.
