The risk in this brief is the structural integrity of a glass greenhouse under load and Butte County's requirement for engineered plans when a pre-fab is on hold, so I will produce a full set of construction documents. I will design the greenhouse frame in AutoCAD, using steel members sized for wind and snow loads specific to the site plot, so the glass panels can be safely supported and installed. The cooling climate control system will be designed using standard HVAC principles, selecting units sized for the greenhouse volume and glass surface area, also detailing ductwork runs and power requirements. I will lay out the concrete foundation plan so the structure has a stable base. I assume the existing pre-fab assembly manual provides the approximate dimensions and panel configuration of the structure. What is the maximum allowable height for the structure in Butte County? I need the site plot file to proceed.
