Hi paule205, Last week i did a very similar property block plan (merged survey DWGs, cleaned 2D, plus 3D exteriors), so i’m confident to handle this really well. i would like to know the below. - What source files will you provide (DWG/PDF survey, title/plat, existing plans, site photos) and is there a known coordinate system or site benchmark? - What final outputs do you expect (DWG/PDF + SKP/Revit) and any council/office drafting standards, target scale, or accuracy tolerance? I think we should. - Set a strict layer, naming, and lineweight standard so merged drawings stay clean and easy to maintain. - Lock a shared base point/coordinates to keep 2D and 3D perfectly aligned and avoid drift long term. Lets follow a plan like this. 1) Gather all files and verify key dims against deed; fix units, north, scale, and establish a stable base point. 2) Build the 2D block plan: boundaries as closed polylines, building footprints, setbacks, spot levels, labels, and key dimensions. 3) Create the 3D exterior: model accurate massing from the plan, apply materials, run sun study, produce elevations and realistic views. 4) QA and deliver: cross‑check areas/lengths, tidy lineweights, export clean PDFs/DWGs and 3D files; do one focused revision on your notes. May I know if you are the project owner or part of the direct client team, because I usually work directly with the customer and dont engage through agents, brokers, or middle parties.
