I’m confident I can handle this really well. i would like to know the below. - What stud spacing should I design for (16" o.c., 24" o.c.), and is adding blocking allowed? - What’s the max combined load (finish + TV) and the exact insert model with required clearances/vent path? I think we should. - Use folded C/hat channels with return flanges and slot‑and‑tab indexing to boost stiffness while keeping depth to ~5". - Standardize telescoping width modules and use PEM/self‑clinching nuts so assembly is fast and repeatable, no jigs. Lets follow a plan like this. - I map all constraints: stud pattern, insert envelope, venting, thermal clearances, target loads, and allowable gauges. - I build the modular chassis in SolidWorks: 5" deep, adjustable width, cross/center bracing, mount rails, cable pass‑thrus. - I run quick FEA and hand checks for tile/stone + TV loads with 2x safety, iterate 14–18ga to balance weight vs rigidity. - I deliver DXF/STEP, bend tables, BOM, exploded drawings, and a flat‑pack assembly guide; then refine after your fab’s DFM notes.
