I’m adding new living space to my home and need a complete roof plan that uses parallel cord trusses and finishes with a metal covering. The front of the addition steps out in a series of short facets rather than one straight line, so the truss layout must follow that geometry cleanly and keep the fascia heights consistent. I’ll supply the existing floor plan and exterior elevations the moment we start. What I need back are construction-ready documents that my local builder and permitting office can accept without further redrafting: • Fully dimensioned roof framing plan showing each truss, heel heights, panel points, and bearing locations • Connection and hardware details suitable for light-gauge metal roofing • Layout for the faceted front fascia, including any custom end-truss cuts or filler framing • Basic load calculations to confirm the truss design meets residential code (snow, wind, live/dead) • A concise material take-off so I can order the trusses and metal panels in one go PDFs are fine for review, but final files should also arrive in DWG or another editable CAD format so I can hand them to the truss manufacturer if tweaks are required. So you need the existing building information on paper, specifically the elevations so you know how high your new walls will be to match the existing roof, some of this might need stick framing over the bay window . Calculations for uplifting, mostly wind and snow weight for hardware choices. 17 dollars seems a little cheap for such a time consuming process, how about 217 USD?
