Boundary Survey CAD Drafting

I am a licensed Land Surveyor and need a CAD drafter to create boundary survey plats. There are also projects for other types of surveys if you have familiarity with topographic survey plat requirements. You will use provided survey points and property research to create a plat that meets Georgia state standards as well as county/city requirements when applicable. Being based out of the metro Atlanta area is a slight bonus, but this will be entirely remote. Typical Deliverables: - boundary survey plat meeting state and local requirements to be recorded. Ideal Skills & Experience: - Proficiency in CAD software, AutoCAD preferred but anything that can produce the deliverables in DWG format is acceptable. - Experience with boundary surveys (experience with ALTA/NSPS survey is a plus) - Strong attention to detail - Ability to interpret and incorporate existing survey data - Experience with researching the zoning maps for a county and determining the zoning classification for the property as well as looking up the building setbacks for that class of zoning for inclusion in the plat. - Experience with reviewing county and city ordinances and Unified Development Ordinances through municode is preferred. - Familiarity with FEMA Firm maps and flood zones and drafting the approximate flood zones using these maps. - Familiarity with performing property research through the GSCCCA platform would be beneficial, but I will try to provide all the research necessary with each project. I would prefer to pay on a per-project basis, let me know your typical pricing process. I will have projects available on a regular basis, approximately one per week currently, but it will likely accelerate as my business grows.
