We need an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer / CAD Designer to create a detailed, manufacture-ready 3D CAD model of the front suspension geometry based on our exact coordinate data, including specific spring and damper attachment hardpoints. Suspension Type: Double A-Arm (Wishbone) Suspension with separate shock/spring assembly and steering tie-rods. Suspension Spring Rates: Left & Right Spring Stiffness: 15.000 N/mm Scope of Work & Deliverables: 1 A-Arms Design: Design structural tubing/plates for upper and lower A-arms based on the hardpoints. 2 Upright (Knuckle) Geometry: Design optimized uprights connecting the ball joints, steering tie-rods, and wheel hub mounts. 3 Shock Absorber & Spring Integration: Correctly integrate mounting tabs/clevises on both the chassis side and the lower/upper arm based on the precise Spring/Damper Attachment coordinates provided. 4 Final Assembly & Source Files: Provide fully constrained assembly files along with native source files (preferably SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor) and universal formats (STEP/IGES). Requirements: Proven experience in automotive, motorsport, or Baja SAE/Formula SAE suspension design. Strong understanding of weldments, rod ends, and shock tabs manufacturing constraints.
