Summary We are developing a perfusion lid system for a proprietary vertical-membrane co-culture plate used for advanced cell culture. The lid will enable controlled flow (shear) along the membrane and will scale to the full plate with 12 independent recirculating loops (one loop per column). Each column contains 8 wells (total 96 wells). We prefer 12 independent loops so each column can run different flow rates and/or media conditions. We are looking for a contractor who can support development (concept → CAD → prototype strategy → DFM), not just drafting. We want flow constrained into a defined gap near the membrane to generate predictable laminar shear Target design gap: ~0.3–0.5 mm (must be toleranced and verifiable) Typical target per-well flow range: ~30–200 µL/min (recirculating) Goal: uniform flow distribution across 8 wells within each column loop Milestone 1 — System Architecture (12 loops) Propose overall fluidic architecture for 12 independent recirculation loops Define interfaces: pump, reservoir, bubble trap, priming method, connectors Recommend tubing routing strategy and failure isolation (e.g., quick-connects) Milestone 2 — Column Module Design (8 wells per loop) Design supply/return manifold for one column Design per-well flow equalization (restrictors or capillary inserts) Design slot-former / flow guider to force flow along the membrane Propose sealing strategy (gaskets/O-rings/compression) Milestone 3 — Full Lid CAD (96 wells) Parametric CAD model for the complete lid with 12 independent circuits Include ports/connectors per column (inlet/outlet) Provide assembly model and exploded view Milestone 4 — Prototype & DFM Package Files suitable for prototype manufacturing (3D print/CNC) DFM guidance for future injection molding (parting lines, draft, tolerances) Tolerance stack-up for maintaining the 0.3–0.5 mm gap
