This will give input in Modbus RTU to the PC and data has to be stored for all channels, alerts, alarms, digital inputs etc. An Excel/CSV file will have to be generated for the temperature based on date range, or alerts that have happened. I am logging my car via a program called VCDS It produces an XML logging file. Which contains a number of fields Time/RPM/Injection Quantity/ Air quantity/ boost. Unfortunately due to the vehicles age I am unable to log my wideband 02sensor using the same system I am logging the output of wideband via arduino it produces a txt file with the following fields - Time - Air Fuel Ratio Unfortunately the time base is not stable on VCDS so the records do not immediately tie up. So I want a program that combines the Two files into one new file. Looking at the VCDS records and picking the AFR reading that occured a the closest time period. I've had a circuit designed here before. I'd like to have it modified to rectify some issues. The circuit has an IC for charging, Overcharge, undercharge cutoff, balancing. The circuit or the IC seems to overheat (or get almost dangerously hot) when charging at 1amp. It is also supposed to have reverse polarity protection. This doesn't actually work, the circuit gets fried if batteries placed the wrong way. 1) there will need to be a better design for the battery circuit. I require 2 to 3 amp output. I also need at least 1 amp charging and reverse polarity protection (without that dodgy IC (tp5100)) There is supposed to be a latching circuit for turning the device on.
