Hi, I have a flash website and need a hyperlink added to 1 of the images on one page. On the same page I also need an image added.. I have the swf file. I can decompile the SWF if necc but I'm assuming you would know how to do this. I don't have the fla file. Its all ok under SoThink decompiler. I've used Google swiffy to successfully convert the swf to js, but the resulting code does not work on the Joomla site where this needs to display. The reason (according to Chrome) is that the call stack ends up being too deep. I've also used the SoThink decomplier to export to HTML5, but I think the swf is too old because I don't get the full animation. Bottom line is that it MUST work in a module on a Joomla 3.4.4 site. I've tried many different export settings in Premiere to create a 2nd "mobile version" of the software with no success. I can encode a mobile video that plays on Iphones, etc, but it NEVER works on Android 2.X devices. I've also tried using HandBrake and Sothink encoding softwares to encode the uncompressed video into different formats...and can NEVER get it working on Android 2.x devices. The purpose of this project is to scrape some data from a flash object on a website. I am not a programmer, however I've done some playing around using Sothink SWF decompiler and it appears the data is definitly available once you decomplied the swf, I am just having a difficult time determing how it is being mapped out / nor do I know how to write a program to scrape it. You can write a script using any language / tools that you want, however the final product MUST run on my linux box and be a completely univeral script that can be automated for 100s of webpages. So you can't use a windows GUI type of swf decompiler like Sothink. If you are interested in seeing a sample URL to be scraped, send me a private message. Thanks.

I have designed a website for a customer, with two navigation menu systems on her home page: The drop-down text menu in the LH column is absolutely fine and is a CSS menu. The problem is with the category and sub-category links in the body of the page, which I have created using Sothink DHTML Menu in Javascript. When the cursor runs over a category image, a semi-transparent sub-menu appears in the corner of the image, as is intended. My problem is that the customer is complaining that the sub-menu position is erratic. Not all the category images have sub-categories (yet). These image menus are located only on the home page. Can anyone give me a better system that is more reliable, which I can edit myself? Perhaps a CSS menu system? I

Hi, Someone was working on a shopping cart script for me, but has disappeared. However, he provided me with two swfs which I would like decompiled and turned back in to working code. I have an online photo gallery written in flash. The problem is its use of memory. It uses 5MB of memory for each photo in the slide show and it doesn't release the memory when advancing to the next photo. The memory usage for a gallery of about 40 photos grows to more than 700 MB.
