As an anniversary gift (#17) wanted to recreate my wife's likeness / face / picture in the style of an Alebrto Vargas (famous pinup artist) illustration. I wanted to commission 3 drawings, maybe 2 poses and 1 closer face portrait. I will provide photos of my wife and some select Vargas drawings for pose / inspiration to go along with each. Vargas technique I believe was to do underpainting with paint brush first, and, then airbrushed color overtop in a glazing technique. Apparently even though in watercolor, he was able to achieve this because the sprayed color did not disturb delicate underpainting, which remined untouched during color application.
