I need some new software that will create process flowcharts from a database of process steps and relationships. The pilot project will simply need to create a neatly laided out flowchart based on the simple contents of a database. The flowcharts should be in vertical swim lane format, with up to 8 swimlanes. The flowcharts should be in MS Visio format (i.e. editable in Visio). We have a video sequence of around 1 hour. It's a static camera pointing to a 3 lane street. One of the 3 lanes has a left-turn only sign (i.e. if you are in that lane you must turn right at the intersection, you can't go straight ahead). The job is to edit the video to add a counter of total cars in that lane, and number of them that ignore the sign. Then change the video speed to make it the fastest possible that is watchable (maybe 10x). By watchable I mean that you can still see the cars moving (not just appearing and disappearing in separate frames). My idea would be to have an overhead view of a roundabout, starting off with a classic single lane roundabout in the first level and a defined set of cars entering the field of play.
