I have a basic filemaker pro database to catalogue/manage archival images, that I developed with very limited skills! I am looking for someone to tweak the database to optimise how it works. Specifically, I need a better solution for including images and documents (.jpg and .pdf) in full, as presently I drop in the first page/image only and then to view subsequent pages/images I manually find the files outside of the database. It seems cumbersome. Also keen for advice about other improvements, and also advice about efficient use of the database.

i want a system that has a database containing the scope of work to be done (we produce CGI stills for e-commerce use, of say, a jar of coffee etc). I want clients to be able to access an online interface where they can order stills to be created (either form a library of existing models/wireframes, or have unique new models built etc). they input the requirement, it generates a database or of records of each SKU (Stock keeping unit), it also should generate the cost of the order (from a set price list database). this should send out the order to the production house (us) and the master should allow us to show the progress of the process to the client, and have them input their feedback on the work.
