Contest Brief
The logo is for a training film of the same name (‘The Accidental Facilitator’) – the film demonstrates the core skills required by a person to facilitate a group (whether it's a meeting, a training session, a planning session... whatever). A good group facilitator ensures that people in the group understand each other, have the conversations that matter, make good decisions and achieve their goals.
This film is targeted at anyone who finds themselves having to lead a group – mainly workers in non-government organisations (NGOs) and government but also in the private sector.
We’d prefer a logo that includes the full name – The Accidental Facilitator. We’d like to see a logo that is unique, clever, a rumour of playfulness – and a bit of understated ‘arty’-ness. We don’t have a particular style in mind. We do like Scandinavian design and film noir design but we don’t want the logo to be too sleek – it has to look a bit casual (because it is ‘accidental’!). There are no company colours - so feel free to use your creativity.
The logo will be used in the film itself as well as on the web and in print. The successful design may lead to further work – for example, DVD cover, manual cover, website, etc.

#6 This has real potential. Maybe take on board what I've said in my other comments e.g. the 'accidental' could look a bit different to 'facilitator' (maybe the letters in accidental could just be in outline?). P.S. It also needs to include a 'the' at the beginning - could be a challenge.
