You could win $50 for winning a 2 minute game!

We recently launched the web app version of Techu on the Chair and need testers to help us check gameplay, speed, usability, and bugs. Play for free at https://techu.app. No signup or download required.

This is structured as a fastest-time contest. Play on MEDIUM or HARD difficulty. Submit your score to the leaderboard. After, submit a screenshot of your final time, and the fastest valid time at the end of the contest wins.

Current fastest time: 36.1 seconds on HARD set by the creators of the game. I will be updating the comment section with current winners of this contest periodically, so check the comments!

The web app version is stripped down to the core game only, without the full artwork from our iOS and Android apps, so we can focus on testing the gameplay itself.

Basic rules: take turns playing cards, stay connected to your home row, and control the most spaces by the end. Green squares show where you can play.

Please submit your screenshot and include any feedback about bugs, confusing parts, loading issues, or performance problems. Note: Don't forget to push SUBMIT HIGH SCORE at the end of the game to qualify!

The game is currently fastest on mobile and optimized for phone play. For privacy, you must manually push SUBMIT at the end of your game to submit your high score. You can also check your high score directly on the leaderboards to see how you stand.

UPDATE: Hard is obviously a higher score than medium. If you have the highscore on high, that is what matters at this point.

Hi, I've been reading the comments from the past few days and noticed that you're experimenting for an anti-bot/anti-cheat implementation, which became the purpose of the contest.

However, I discovered a severe security vulnerability in the website that allows anyone to submit any score with any duration directly to the API endpoint. You may have noticed already that nearly all scores on the top leaderboard are 'fake'. Likewise, the contest screenshots can also be easily faked by manipulating the game state directly.

If you're awarding the highest score, it will most likely fall to one of the hackers.

I can help you redesign the security system to be more resistant against these attacks. Feel free to DM me.

  We’re aware of this, and its not an oversight. We are actively removing any high scores that were manually inputted throughout the contest. In most cases, we’re able to detect and filter those out.
  
  The players currently on the leaderboard are legitimate and have actually played the game. They have sent me screen recordings of gameplay. At this point, the scores you see are valid — including the current top score on hard difficulty, which was achieved through normal gameplay.
