We have started writing an app in VB Express 2012 which queries a SQL database based on what is entered into a field for use with redeeming voucher codes. This then displays a form based on what is entered. We need the functionality extended to achieve the following:

Load a form depending on what data is return to display the data, this will be a choice of two
Update a field in the SQL when a button is pressed for the record returned above
Create a settings area where we can input the SQL connection details rather than having it hard coded and directory for output text file (below)
Have a site number in the settings area which is commited to a field in the SQL table when a record is updated
Output a text file of the returned data (3 fields max)

A full document spec will be provided along with the source VB files of app so far.

  Yes, you are missing the point,
  its not about 200 pound, its about how to help people to solve their problems with using your experience, i think we don't gain experience to sell it back , absolutely Sir, we gain it for helping people, yes we are doing work to get money for living but experience increase with work even if your made a small task.
  I hope we catch the idea.

  Hi, the DB contains only one table with 5 columns, that's it! Currently sitting in a SQL Server 2008 R2 Express Install. The output file needs to be a single text document and only needs to contain one field from the DB (which we will use to import into another application). As mentioned there needs to be a seetings option within the app to determine the output directory but the filename will be fixed. Any further questions please get in touch.
