Contest Brief

The aim of this contest is to find developers to join our team, all levels of experience is welcome.Your aim is to create small game on Unity 3D engine that is similar to Rome Total War. The best game will win 300$ prize and a team leader role. The next 2 best developers will continue on with us to work on larger project. there are a various payment options that i can make with people that have created the best demos. All of the developers that participate and create full functional game will be contacted with feedback on their work.

Requirements:

The game should run on PC – standalone.
There should be 5 different kind of troopers for the army and 2 different vehicles.
The armies can have up to 1000 units.

Graphics:
You can use any terrain and troopers graphics for now, as the original graphics of the game are not provided yet – the quality of the graphics is not an issue.

Controls:
With the mouse the player should be able to zoom in and out of the battlefield, group your army and give them commands – walk, attack, stop, etc. The WASD keys should move the camera around the map.

Artificial intelligence:
there should be easy medium and hard. Where easy you should be able to easily destroy the AI and hard tactics are required and a significant notice of difficulty.

At the start of this demo game, you will have to have 3 buildings a HQ building to make your leader, builders and will create a resource. Another two buildings for your troops and vehicles. You have 1000 slots for troopers and 100 slots for vehicles. You will start the game with a HQ building and builders. To populate you will need to wait for resources to build your buildings then make your soldiers.

Win a battle: to win all the opponents buildings needs to be destroyed or if the army’s moral breaks by being killed more then the enemy, a bar should display this army leader should have a big part if he dies.

I know that the contest is closed, but I am interested very much about your project. I didn’t apply because I saw your post today, only a couple of hours before its finishing time. At that time I was at work, so I couldn’t write you. Today was our first working day since 31 December, we were celebrating New Year and Christmas, so that’s why I didn’t saw your contest.
If you are still open for new candidates, please tell me, so I can make a demo game for you.
If your answer is yes, please, give me more instructions how the game should look. For example, should it be from Roman time?
