Contest Brief

Think Defence (www.thinkdefence.co.uk) is a blog that focuses on UK defence issues. The current logo is poor and needs replacing.

Requirements...

1. Fit within the existing site design
2. Have a text and graphic element with the graphic suitable for use as a Twitter icon
3. Incorporate the full or some aspect of the union flag, possibly in purple as purple represents joint capabilities
4. Use the three colours, red, Air Force blue and Navy blue as they represent the Army, Royal Air Force and Royal Navy
5. Be simple and bold, not fussy or over detailed
6. Nothing too twee so no cartoon soldiers or 'army stencil' type fonts

I think I did mention in the requirements about looking twee but just to reiterate, please, no castles, swords and shields. Keep it modern, bold and simple
