I need to have a company name and tagline/slogan for a luxury tourism company taking small group tours of executives from China to Scotland on exclusive leisure holidays.

This deliverables are:

  1. Company name
2. Company slogan/tagline
3. Explanation of why you suggested the name and tagline

BACKGROUND

The concept of the company is:  -

a) Targeting high net-worth Chinese leisure tourists (aged 45+ married couples)  in Tier 1 Chinese cities - sophisticated, rich Chinese used to the Five Star Treatment
b) Boutique small group tours of Scotland, taking in a diverse selection of exclusive experiences and beautiful locations 
c) There will also be a focus on the rich culture and history of Scotland drawing a parallel with China’s own history – the intention is to deliver an immersive cultural experience  

THEMES

The name should get across the following themes: 

Travel, Luxury, Boutique, Prestige, Elegance , Exclusivity, Limited Edition, Limited Access (to otherwise inaccessible experiences)

  The brand should ideally tie in with the themes of the tour itself: 

Scottish History, Castles , Natural Beauty, British Royalty, Golf, Fishing, Shooting, Whisky , Luxury Shopping

WORKING TITLE (so far) and why:

  i) Name: "Scottish Gold"
ii) Luxury Tourism from China to Scotland
iii) Chosen simply because of the destination is Scotland and "Gold" being a symbol of wealth and prosperity in China. Issue with this is that it could be mistaken for a physical gold seller! Slogan is just a literal translation - nothing clever.

One concept that I like is "Five Star" - since the Chinese Flag is called "The Five Star" flag, link with "Five Star Service" so "Five Star Scotland" was a good suggestion. It's this kind of concept that I'm looking for.

Hi there - can I be clear that I am NOT looking for a logo graphic at this stage, just words (please read "deliverables").
Further more, the words "Gold" and "Five Star" are just examples and I am NOT looking for derivatives of these or ideas containing these words. Thanks.

Dear Wee Pilchard, this is a tantalizing challenge for me! Not because I work with an organization called Sons of Scotland here in Canada and my mother was born in Kircaldy, or because one of my favourite comedians hails from Scotland or because I LOVED my tour to Edinburgh and Jedburgh, or because my father raised me on Kenneth McKellar and I sing along with Roamin in the Gloamin. No, it's because I love the thrill of naming. However, I need more information from you! To establish an effective name (in my opinion) requires much more than knowing about this particular service and even your particular target market. Can I ask you a few questions?
