1. Remove search box from wordpress header.
2. Make the wordpress site look the same in a web browser as it does on a mobile browser. Currently, when viewed on a mobile browser, it loads with the top menu on multiple lines and the widgets and content are all at different levels.
3. Keep the existing child theme.

The actual site is not changed. There is no way to change it without access.So I guess you just use firebug with live css update for a view.
