  As someone who has spent many years working in music retail and even radio (not to mention relevant experience in "getting the party started") I think this is right up my alley! Although as Rob has noted the timing may be an issue, but I do also have experience in crossfading and music production

  Hi freelancers! The event is high profile and all songs should be positive, relaxing with a romantic like lyrics. Please do not include songs with any inappropriate language and nil hard rock/metal. Also no hardcore dance music.

  Individual tracks is preferred so we can skip to certain tracks if needed. But happy for it to be continuous mix if easier. The iPad will be connected to powered speakers (2 x 10 inch 250W powered Australian monitor speakers) and a mixer. The size of room will hold 200 seated people and has very high ceilings (over 2 levels). The room is a old library and contains a large number of books and some hard surfaces. Can you figure out the required dynamic range with this info?

     Sensitivity: 95dB
     Frequency Response (-3dB): 55Hz to 18kHz
     Frequency Response (-10dB): 50Hz to 20kHz

  if 10 freelancers participate that will be like 2.5*10 25 hours of audio for listen...god bless your ears...and more importantly you can use all the entries as we don;t have any rights for them...would have been far better if this was a project rather than contest...but there are plenty freelancers here that will do here in this contest so good luck...may bid for your next contest :)

  do you want a continuous mix? And when you say from an iPod what kind of system ( e.g. house, car, amphitheater ) are you intending to play it on ( i.e. What dynamic range are you looking for in sound ) ?
