Kilpailun tehtävänanto

Looking for a logo design for an outside over the door/window storefront awning. The design is for a deli that will sell sandwiches soups and salads, and other things. The design should be simple but with some elements from New York City. I uploaded a quick sketch of what I was thinking. The middle text should read OUTER BOROUGH, one thought I had was the E in outer and the R and G in Borough should be NYC subway train line logos which you can look up what they look like in my attachment. Between the words outer Borough I thought maybe a black silhouette of the Brooklyn bridge or maybe Ny skyline or the George Washington bridge would be even better. The awning will be a medium/dark grey or maybe dark beige or in the brown family. You should try the design in both white and black letters. OUTER BOROUGH should be in the middle, and below that should be three words Deli • Soups • Salads
Please make sure spelling is correct as these have to be presented to my partners. Thank you and good luck!

Notes:

1) When designing the logo, do not use the outer line, that was just me approximating my awning. Again, DO NOT USE THE OUTER LINE IN THE LOGO

VERY INPORTANT!!!!
2) if you are going to use the train symbol letters, you can use the same colors as the ones on the train map, PLEASE DO NOT USE RANDOM COLORS. USE THE COLORS THAT ARE ON THE ATTACHED CHART FOR THE CIRCLE TRAIN LINE LETTERS! The colors of the letters in the circle AND the color of the circle needs to be like the chart attached. You cannot just make up your own colors. It must match the chart!!!!!!!

3) the rest of the letters in outer borough should be the same size as the letters in the train symbol, and the spacing between the actual letters should be equal as well

4) I have attached a photo of the George Washington bridge, and you can Google images more if you need, which is the preferred bridge graphic to use if you use a bridge.


NOTE

The above instructions and design attached are just a suggestion, you are free to come up with your own design, utilizing the idea of a nyc style deli located in NJ, so any connection of NY and NJ and deli you are free to come up with your OWN unique ideas and designs

    Users on this app like MarinaM who have no skills of their own and literally copy other peoples work and try to pass it as their own is beyond annoying. The point of being an artist is to use your own creativity to design something different for the customer, not steal other peoples work.
