Winner of this contest will win $100, and with a competitive bid, will be given the opportunity to draw
up to 300-400 more single frame cartoons of similar nature over the next 6 months or so.
In order for you to be considered for this project, you must do 2 things:

1> You must create for us at least one cartoon featuring 2 characters, a girl (sexy and sassy) and a guy (average looking nerd) in a scene following the guidelines (on attached JPEG) as well as below. Submit cartoon as a JPEG file.
The cartoon can be in any setting, nothing too fancy. Have the girl holding any weapon,
and the guy holding a bunch of daisies. Pay attention to detail of these items.
Please do not use any flesh tones on skin (leave white). We are looking for a very clean, bold, dark ink drawing (please do not use pencil). Use primarily black and red, and maybe just one more color. We like bold lines and colors, not thin, light or shaded sketches.
In addition, you may design as many different character looks or scenes as you wish.
If you have any questions we will answer them.

2> You must tell us how much you will charge us for each future cartoon, should we select you as our artist of choice.
Please keep in mind, for all future cartoons we will provide you with a detailed hand-drawn sketch for each cartoon.
Every card will feature the same 2 characters you have created here, only in different scenarios.
All you have to do is use your artistic ability and transform each of our sketches into a finished
vector cartoon, consistent in appearance with previous cartoons. It’s that simple.

Here’s what we expect…
In order to have a good working relationship, there must be open communication between us.
We will be as precise as possible with each sketch we give you, and we expect you to ask questions
should you not understand anything we give you. This is paramount, as we do not wish to waste your time, nor do we wish to incur additional charges for redraws along the way.
We anticipate there may be the need to tweak something here and there, but we’re very reasonable,
honest people, and we’ll work with you.
We’re sure things will flow smoothly once we get to know one another’s style.
You should be aware cartoons may not be available right away, and there may be periods where new cartoons may not be offered to you for a month or more at a time, so we require your understanding, patience and flexibility.
Likewise, we will not insist you drop everything you’re doing to work on our project without giving you sufficient notice. In addition, the winning cartoonist will be given the first opportunity at our other projects.

and submit your entry along with your salary requirements for completing our future cartoons.
