Contest Brief

We are looking for web and print ready logo art for NOVITAS Foundation, a non-profit charitable entity.

We are looking for two versions for use... a "text"/"basic" logo, and an "artistic logo" for use in print, email, and website.

BOTH completed and approved logos will need to be provided in color, black & white, and outline. We will also need the digital color (CMYK) codes to replicate the selected colors when we go to print.

The completed project will include .gif, jpg, eps, and .png file formats.

We are open to new/fresh ideas, but it must be professional and convey an international reach.

We have considered the use of a world map/globe in our "artistic logo", but the "text"/"basic" logo should be straightforward and easy to read for use in print/email and other non-html forms of communication, where we are simply wanting to convey the "brand" and name without extensive art.

The "artistic" logo could include something similar to the attached world maps....We especially like Stock Photo #18653191 with "NOVITAS Foundation" integrated into it somehow.

BOTH logos should include our tag line as shown on the WORD.doc -- International Relief | Innovation | Sustainable Development

The "text" or "basic" logo could include a circle (see example), or a 3/4 circle that fades away (giving a sense of the globe), or a predominant " N " as shown - with the NOVITAS Foundation name below it. We also like the "shadow" look as shown, and the globe could be integrated in that...

Desirable colors include COPPER and BLACK, but we are open to other ideas/color concepts.

In the end, we are looking for an internationally recognized/recognizable logo -- even if it is just an " N ". with NOVITAS Foundation underneath it.

NOVITAS is loosely translated from Latin as "new", hence the charity is a "new foundation" for all of the international work we conduct.

PS: Whomever has the skill to hack into other FREELANCER's work, also had the gall to send me a virus - which my computer caught. Give me a break. This is a non-profit charitable organization looking to help people....Think along those lines and offer your ideas....If you are selected, you are paid well. Thanks for the comments on communication....Rather than returning the favor, you should know that we paid for PRIVATE designs, but someone has copied some work from other designers....We appreciate and value each designer, which is why we paid to use FREELANCER. We have commented on many of the 170 entries, but at some point, it takes too much time to comment on each one....Especially when they don't always follow our Brief. Thanks for your work and effort to that end. We are refining the one we think will work, so you may want to sit this out. There is still 12 hours left for anyone else who has an original idea.

Why you don`t tell us why you rejected all. It is a contest or a project awarded to one freelancer? I don`t understand, do you want other colors, other style? The Communication is the strong point of a businessmen, it seems like you are missing this strength. Thank you.
