  I understand your concern and i wish you good luck to have best designs from any where. I have two more button look in the standard screen layout which you referred like my #22 i have uploaded #71 and #72 please open #71 and take a look at new buttons with new colors in first row and last two rows. And First Row in #72 are same in standard layout kindly check both. Let me know if you have any think to do more. Good Luck.

     My total Work Is based Just on background just changing the background will apply effects i have designed in new entries and my buttons which you asked to see also work in both condition without any additional work exempt replacing them. I have used a new thin Mono font for improved view and font details will be available with copy of it.

  Again I would like to reiterate - forget what we currently have - we do not want slight variations on these colours - we want change. For example (1) we like the blue / orange mix on the freelancer home screen and (2) it is not necessary to keep the button icons.

  Perhaps I did not make it clear enough in the brief but we do not want a version of what we already have - we want something radically different. Use your imagination and think that if you were designing a fresh screen with a blue/grey background and orange/white buttons what variations on the colours would you use.

  This job is more like a CSS job with some png images. CSS will load much faster than an image.

     While I do accept this, we don't have the resources right now to go back through the system and make the necessary changes to switch to CSS. Our images are small and if we can get re-designed images then we should be able to swap them in the live system in a matter of seconds to achieve the needed result. Given the time we may switch to CSS driven layouts later.
