Contest Brief

Our company, Dahua Electrics, is a very successful vacuum cleaner manufacturer. Our products have been sold 3 million units per year to all over the world. We have strategic cooperation with Electrolux, DeLonghi, Ariete, and etc.

Our company is now looking for talented desingers to work on our best selling models and hopefully create some new designs that are both stunning, and suitable for the common market. That is to say, we do not want it too advant-garde so no concept models please. We would highly appreciate designs that can be accepted by most people.

Attached are two photos of our best selling models. The first one is a bag type canister, the other is a cyclone type vacuum (bag-less). Please use these as your references. You may choose either one of these and work your magic.

We would also love to have long term partnerships with creative and talented designers but we are having difficuly locating them domestically. Therefore please take this chance and show us your creativity. All your efforts are very much appreciated. Cheers!

Interesting project.
Just wanted some more clarity.
Is it right to say that in this contest, you are looking at some good visual aesthetics.
And then the Detailed concept 3D model would be looked at later?

Our website is www.nbdahua.com, on it you would find some older models only (our customers do not go to our website anyway).
