I need a square ratio logo in vector format

I want the letter M to be the focus. If you can imagine a 3x3 grid of squares, I want the M to have the top row filled along with three columns going down forming a symmetrical squarish M.

This will be used for favicon, iOS, android, business cards, and stationary so it has to scale well.

Possible variations:
-Borders
-Hollow M
-Some sort of mechanical steam punky Motif with M as a frame

I'll attach something I whipped up in photoshop as an example to show somewhat what I want stylistically.

Hello everyone who has submitted an entry. So many great ideas! However, a warning and a promise for you, I will be going down the list chronologically before making a final choice and if your entry doesn't pass the smell test for originality then you've copy/pasted to no avail.
