We're Summit Nanotech - a Canadian startup leveraging recent advances in nanotechnologies to create and implement solutions for industrial processes. Our solutions will reduce emissions, eliminate environmental contaminants and optimize inefficient processes. Our current focus is on improving processes for extracting lithium carbonate, uptaking and utilizing atmospheric CO2 in the process and recycling energy.

We're looking for an awesome video to be created based on our story telling pitch called 'The Hero's Journey'. This is an empowering story that shows the CUSTOMER (plant manager) as being a HERO for using our technology and having the courage to make BIG changes; his staff was reluctant but in the end it was a brave and profitable decision! (We have referenced Elon Musk and Tesla in our power point - but please don't make reference to him in this video - we have to be careful. But ultimately we will have an impact on the electric vehicle market.)

We're looking for a creative take on this story. Our vision is a video that is informative, fun and quirky, much like this pitch and story board. We're a passionate and creative team and we'd like that to be reflected in this video. Ideally this would look like the lego movie.(an animated cartoon)

    Though the video is out of the script, I took some initiative to learn the difference between the traditional lithium extraction process and the technology used by SUMMIT NANOTECH.

    Please, let me know if I'm mistaken anywhere.
    I feel sorry for myself for not being able to complete the animation video which could have been one of my best video making project!...
    However, I'm really disappointed with my late participation!.... [On the last day]...
    Being an academician, though, at the final stage, I'm proud of myself for taking part in such a contest full of knowledgebase!
