As restrictions on COVID-19 are slowly lifted, renovations, contractor, and construction are being allowed into buildings.
However, there are expert opinions that facilities should protect themselves by taking steps to ensure that contractors entering the building are not putting the resident and staff at risk.
Our 3D Security software has a contractor tracking function that allows security/management to record names, dates, and times of contractors in your building. Professional managers have been using this information to track regular site visits from preventative maintenance contracts. As the log tracks time in and time out of the building, managers are also using the software to vet invoices to ensure that they are receiving proper value.
We have now added a brief COVID-19 questionnaire to the logging process. Any contractor coming into the building answers simple questions and then (digitally) signs the report. This becomes an electronic record of the contractor log that property management can access should the need ever arise.
All this information can be updated through a computer or any smart device (like a phone or tablet)
