Hi there! I'm Kinga and I'm autism therapist and PhD student in the field of autism. I created and ran therapeutic intervention for children with autism in schools/kindergartens, which help them through their peers (e.g. friends from same classroom). I teach typical peers how to talk and play with a child with autism and they became "little mentors" for them. After few months we see positive effect - children with autism are accepted and included in the group. They practice communication and social skills in their natural environment which is extremely beneficial for them. Typical peers gain empathy and understanding for others. Thanks to this support children with autism have a chance for friendship and their school experience (which is usually very hard for them) may become more positive. Intervention is based on PMII (Peer Mediated Instruction), which is evidence based treatment for autism used in many countries and it has also some new elements added.
Now I'll expand this program on more schools in different cities so I need a logotype for my website, ebooks and print materials.
Logotype should be done as flat design and will be wordmark (no sygnet). The name of my projects is Program Mentor. It would be great if logotype will look good also in black and white, because many people will print my “free ebooks” that can be downloaded from the website.
I would like to have a logotype which will communicate: support, high-quality, knowledge, friendship, positive self-esteem, safeness. Logotype will be addressed to children, parents, teachers and school employees.
Logotype is 2 words and should be 1-line:
It needs to look well as 40px height (website) and I will use it also as a big format e.g. 300px height.
Website will be flat design with a lot of white space and Open Sans font (so the logotype should use other font that match it). Website will use this template: [login to view URL]
Thank you everyone for taking part in this competition and for your awesome ideas and graphic skills. Good luck!
“Thank you for your work!”
