I currently have a logo for IT consulting service which I have attached. We need to redo this logo to something more professional.

Logo design requirements:
-We want to keep the same or similar blue color.
-The logo currently has a star/compass which convey direction/guidance which we would like to incorporate but not a requirement.
-Have the name present on the logo.
-We need something that is professional, creative and look great on websites, print and marketing merchandise like pens and USB drives etc.
-I require a vector file format of the design.
-A negative(black & white version) for print on merchandising.
