Kilpailun tehtävänanto

We are looking for modernising our logo, with clean and modern, but still visible design. I am attaching how our logo has changed over the years.
Metalex is a brand of stores selling construction materials, tools, home textiles, plants and flowers, it is an Bau and garden center similar to Obi, Bauhaus... It is also an importer and distributor for a different brand and manufacturer of construction tools and materials. People that buy in Metalex are handymen, construction workers and companies, but also homeowners and housewives, farmers...
Original logo dates from 1985., and the M symbolises a construction nail.
We are flexible in changing the colours of the logo, if needed.
Colours used:
Yellow: FDDB00.
Blue: Pantone 2736 C
Red: ED1C24
