Kilpailun tehtävänanto

We are looking for a nice new age, simplistic & attractive logo for our new ISP business. We are a small ISP operating in a small remote island community, and the first to offer connectivity over fibre internet.

We do not have an existing logo design, we looking for a new design something fresh & modern to suit our new look. We are looking to use this logo on our new website as well as stationary and advertising material.

Our logo should include the following key points:

- Use the outline of our Island, but maybe smooth it out a bit make it less sharp looking. The island is called "Christmas Island" located near Indonesia.
- Our main company name is: CiFi
- Our extended name is: Christmas Island Fibre Internet
- Incorporate a fibre optic cable reference somehow. I was thinking of perhaps using a fibre cable as the outline of the island, or to spell out the main "CiFi" letters of our name?
- The basic idea so far it to use the outline of the Island, maybe using the colorful fibre optic cable, and have "CiFi" in large letters within the island outline, and underneath in text "Christmas Island Fibre Internet".
- I have included a map that shows the outline of the island and the location of the fibre internet cable as it comes in to shore
- I have also included a stock sample of a multi color fiber cable I thought looked cool, that might suit to use as the outline of the island.
- Feel free to include anything that related to light (think fibre optic cable light), fibre optics themselves to improve the design, but please keep it minimal.

REALLY encourage you all to let the creative juices flow, no need to go overboard on the design, simple and neat and catchy is what we are looking for with that strong link to the island through the island outline in the logo.
