Dear participants,
Let me give you a piece of reality that some of new need to face.
The customer has the right to change his mind about a concept.
In life we often have a "good idea" and then when presented with a better idea we realize our "good idea" was not that great after all.
This can happen to a customer, especially when so many creative designs are being submitted.
It is the job of the professional designer to challenge the customers vision by making a proposal out of the box and out of his range of vision.
This is what we do. We are the designers. The customer isn't.
So take this advice from someone who's been in business for several years: make a few proposals that follow the customer's vision. And make a bunch of other ones that are your vision and have nothing to do with his vision. Then keep working hard and never complain about the customer in public.

It is quite denigrating and belligerent what the contest holder did, there were ample designs that deserved at least to be rated upon the basis of creativity, effort and scrupulousness. But it is to be believed that caveat emptor principle will be the fallout of your deeds.

I was committed to the core and gave constructive feedback to all designs that were good enough to keep me interested. The reason why it's taken me a few days to decide on the winner is simply because I've been left with a number of awesome logos. I have just received the final results of a poll that I created and there were two clear winners right at the top. I made my final decision based on my gut feeling and the results of the feedback from my focus group.

Thanks again to you all designers for your hard work and time...EXCEPT KelvinOTIS and a couple of other bitter designers that really shouldn't enter these kind of competitions if they can't handle the rejection.
I have taken notes of names of other designers which I felt were very professional with amazing designs. I'm a very active business man that "embarks" on a number of projects so I will be back in touch with a select few of you soon.

I'd like to say a big thank you to most of the designers that took part in my contest. This is my first experience with this website and the contest feature is certainly a time consuming option for both designer and contest holder. I had no idea that I would need to take 3 days off work to constantly monitor new designs and take action on every single new entry that came through? I had a clear vision from day one but with so many talented designers with broader minds than myself, I was certainly tempted away from my original brief by some very off the wall and creative designs. I applaud these designers for their bold attempts and for taking the time to deliver their own vision.

Hey guys.......we have been very good friends working in other contests quietly. Let us not put bad blood in us because we will still be here when this fake contest holder who does not know what he wants goes away. There is no way he gives instructions and at the end of the day when we follow he deviates. Ask yourself...when was the last time you saw 800 plus entries? DAVIDGILES stop playing games next time you come here. I saw designs far much better than mine and that doe not mean am not a good designer because I have won a couple of contests here. Those who talk sweet are those who have not been rejected after doing lots of work and changes but i dont take any offence. Lets remain brothers and sisters because am sure we are in many contests but I have not seen this kind of thing. DAVIDGILES is the culprit.

ok so let make this simpler
1. Cloud House - we are not living in the clouds, or maybe if we make it black and write CLOSE TO HEAVEN it will make a point for a funeral service
2. Key - who is making custom keys? complex ones?
3. the black heart it is a negative symbol , and any case more like a tattoo
4. sky creepers - what is that all about ?!!!
5. Greek Column symbol is about - Art, Architecture, Politics and Religion
6 Mine -
The logo must read... "embarq property partners" accompanied by an image or image that forms part of the "e" or "q" of embarq ideally.
The word "embarq" must be larger than the words "Property Partners"
embarq in BLUE and property partners in GREYy.
We want a clean, fresh and modern looking design. The simpler the better like the APPLE logo.
Ideally I'd like to end up with an ICONIC "e". An "e" so individual yet simple that it could be recognized as my brand even on its own.- 11 vuotta sitten
