I am working with a non profit organization that focuses on helping people get low cost prosthesis. Recently they have ventured into printing prosthesis to lower the cost. However one area where they still lack experience is designing the socket (the interface between the prosthesis and the patients limb), in order to make it comfortable and also personalized (in fit and form) to the patient.
I am currently working on a workflow pipeline that will be easy to follow and replicate for different applications were 3D scanning, modeling and printing can yield a low cost prosthesis socket.
To make this easier to follow I would like to design an infographic with the phases required for scanning, modeling, fixing and printing the socket.
During this contest we will be focusing on a small percentage of the overall project, which is the design of the overview portion of the infographic. Whoever presents the best design not only will win the contest but also be asked to work on the final project.
The idea is to create small graphical representation for the different phases.
Please pay attention to the attached Powerpoint Summary, and to the very rough draft of how the final infographic should look.
“I liked your initial work, and it showed promise. However seen as that was the only thing submitted I will have to now go to projects and bid out the creation of the full infographic. Still thanks for your work.”
