The contest is for the concept only. The objective is to find the best ideas for the visual concept, not to produce the final polished illustration. It's ok to submit sketches and ideas only. Final production will be decided with a separate project.
Propose the Illustration concept for ten factors of physical performance: ENDURANCE, STAMINA, POWER, STRENGTH, ACCURACY, SPEED, AGILITY, FLEXIBILITY, COORDINATION, BALANCE, RECOVERY. Two formats are needed large square (1242x1242/2000x2000) and small small (180x180) for each topic. The large illustration is needed for main image on iPhone/iPad detail screen on each topic, the small version for a thumbnail on a list of all topics. Additional landscape (1242x246) should summarise all ten factors as title illustration.
Both versions (small and large) should be rather symbolic, simple visual expressions of the topic. The large version might be even more simplified, almost an icon.
Endurance is defined as the maximum amount of time that a given group of muscles can perform a certain action. Endurance is the ability to do something difficult, unpleasant, or painful for a long time. Cardiovascular endurance is the abillity of body systems to gather, process and deliver oxygen.

Stamina is related to the amount of time that a given muscle or group of muscles can perform at maximum or near maximum capacity. Stamina is the ability of body systems to process, deliver, store and utilize energy.

Strength is the maximum amount of weight that a given muscle or group of muscles can withstand. Exercises that target strength focus on increases in the amount that a group of muscles can lift for a single repetition. The ability of a muscular unit, or combination of muscular units, to apply force.

Power is the ability of a muscular unit, or combination of muscular units, to apply maximum force in minimum time.

Speed is the ability to minimize the time cycle of a repeated movement.

Coordination is the ability to combine several distinct movement patterns into a singular distinct movement.

Balance is the ability to control the placement of the body’s center of gravity in relation to its support base.

Agility is the ability to minimize transition time from one movement pattern to another.

Accuracy is the ability to control movement in a given direction or at a given intensity.

Flexibility is the ability to maximize range of motion at a given joint.

Please note, that Stamina is missing on attached sketch. This sketch is just a possible idea. More ideas are welcome!
This is for an iOS app, which contains workouts. The overall design of the app is very simple, minimalistic, black and white. Color comes from the exercise images only. See attached screens, where the illustrations will be used.
