Contest Brief

Hello!
I am looking for someone to illustrate an animal character for activity courses that we are going to be running. This character is going to be something children aged 8-13 can engage with and make their workbooks/tasks fun! I think a lion would be best as this fits with our company logo (it is a lion). The illustrated character does, however, have to be in keeping with the style of Quintin Blake ideally.
The character that needs to be created has to be very 'British' - think Buckingham Palace, London taxis and red buses. The idea is that there will ultimately be several illustrations created of this character doing his sums, learning about the world, going to school celebrating exam success etc.
We are asking for people to please come up with ideas for this character so we can then pick an illustrator to design the illustrations. Once an illustrator has been picked, they will be paid for the illustrations they produce.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes,
Emily
