This task involves creating simple 4-frame animations of a kid trick-or-treater picking up candy that has fallen on the ground and dropping it back into his Halloween bucket.
A sketch of the 4-framed animation sequence is provided in the GIF image “kidCollectsCandy.gif”
The first two frames of this animation show the kid picking up items from the ground and putting them in his bucket. The 2nd two frames show him stepping over to another spot.
The kid may wear one of four different trick-or-treating costumes: 1. White ghost, 2. Caped Crusader in Crimson, 3. Green ghoul, 4. Brown beast.
The end product for this task is four animations (one for each costume). Where the frames of each animation are contained as layers in a PSD.
The 4 PSDs, named below, may used as templates for the animation.
1. White ghost-Collecting.PSD
2. Caped Crusader in Crimson-Collecting.PSD
3. Green ghoul-Collecting.PSD
4. Brown beast-Collecting.PSD
Each PSD contains 4 layers, i.e. 4 frames of sketched animation, as well as 5th and 6th reference layers to show what the body and head should look like.
Make sure your animations of the character have exact same color, texture and style of the “costume reference” image in the PSD.
Image resolution should be 2000 x 2000 pixels.
Make sure all layers have transparency.
Please incorporate the head in your animation, but keep the head on a separate layer from the rest of the body.
Thank you for your time and interest and feel free to send questions.
