Maramec Spring park is a 1,800 acre preserve privately owned by The James Foundation nestled on the edge of the Missouri Ozarks. The James Foundation began in 1941 to administer the various philanthropic endeavors of the late Lucy Wortham James, whose ancestors owned, built, and operated the first iron works in Missouri from 1826-1876. The property boasts rugged Ozark beauty, Maramec Spring (the 5th largest spring in Missouri), and the ruins of the Maramec Iron Works. The park also offers camping, trout fishing, hiking, museums, picnicking, and natural and historical interpretation. For more information about the park, or to see more photos, please visit www.maramecspringpark.com.
We are in need of new graphic designs for 2021 merchandise. Our older clientele enjoy designs that are reminiscent of retro Field & Stream/Eddie Bauer (fly fisherman fishing in a mountain stream, etc) and Bass Pro/Cabela style (patriotic, large rainbow trout, etc) artwork. Our younger clientele enjoy trendier/simpler artwork and logos. We also need something that can be used on children's apparel.
In the past our designs have either been of the furnace or of a rainbow trout/fisherman. I would love to see designs that incorporate the history with the nature/fishing.
